Kindergarten Picnic - Orientation Day

Add to the excitement of the new school year by attending the picnic with your kindergartner. Lunch, a craft, school tour and special treats are all part of the fun.

Cougar Cafe - Orientation Day

Orientation Day at St. Mary School wouldn`t be complete without a stop at the Cougar Cafe to enjoy refreshments, purchase supplies enjoy refreshments, pick up your "back to school" surprise, visit the information tables and say hello to friends .

Teacher Appreciation Luncheons and Dinners

Our teachers work hard all year long. To thank them for their commitment to St. Mary, the PTU provides lunch and dinner during November Conferences to help lighten the load. A special luncheon complete with a small token of appreciation is also planned during Catholic School`s Week in January.

Other Events

The Hospitality Committee also provides refreshment for other special event as they arise.  In the past, refreshments have been provided for guest speakers and the groundbreaking ceremony for the new school building

Family Fun Night - Late Winter

An evening of food, music, dancing, games, crafts, contests and prizes the entire family can ENJOY. This event comes just in time to brighten up the last days of Winter. Each year there is a new theme and plenty of surprises. Themes from past years include "Freaky Friday," "Patriotic" and "Luau."

First Reconciliation Reception - Wednesday, January 16, 2008 in the Weigand Room.  All First Reconciliation students and their families are invited to continue the celebration with a reception.  Cookies and punch are served.

First Holy Communion Reception - First Saturday in May after Mass

All First Communicants and their families are invited to celebrate their reception at the Lord`s Table. Cookies and punch are served. All First Communicants, regardless of actual First Communion date, are invited to attend with their families.

Confirmation Reception - Wednesday, April 16, 2008 in the Conference Room and Weigand following Mass and Confirmation.  Cookies and punch are served. 

Eight Grade Graduation Reception - Early June

After the Graduation Ceremony has concluded, graduates and their families are invited to gather in the Hall to share cake, cookies, punch and friendship. A slide show is presented commemorating the student`s years at St. Mary

Guest Speakers

When the School Calendar allows, the Programming Committee also arranges for special guest speakers to provide an informational evening for parents. Topics usually focus on the concens of families and parents.
