St. Mary School offers several ways for parents and guardians to get involved in their children`s educational experience. Volunteers play a key role in the School`s success. All the students at St. Mary, especially your own children, benefit from your involvement.
St. Mary Parent-Teacher Unit
The PTU strives to support and enhance the activities of the school. The PTU`s main function is to raise mony for school items and improvements not in the regular school budget. The PTU also sponsors events that enrich each student`s experience and programs that promote the family. LEARN MORE
Sports Committee
The Sports Committee organizes and promotes the after school CYO athletics program at St. Mary. Through the hard work and fundraising efforts of the Sports Committee, girls and boys in grades 4 through 8 have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports through out the school year. You can help by donating your time, participating in fundraising and attending these exciting events. Please contact Craig Wiehe to learn more or volunteer. Purchasing Cougar Wear from the TEAM SHOP helps the Sports Committee raise funds for the SMS athletics program. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at 7:30 PM in the Commons. SMS School Boosters
The SMS School Boosters sponsors 3 annual fundraisers: Night at the Races, the 200 Club and a year-long raffle. The money raised from these events is used to help pay the salaries of the assistant teachers and teacher aides. The assistants and aides provide valuable services to the teachers and students. Your support and participation in these events is crucial. Please contact the the Office at (440) 322-2808 to volunteer.
